Two Weeks, Two Price Points

Downtown Greeley is running its first Restaurant Week, branded Fork Around & Find Out, from Monday, Oct. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 1. Participating restaurants are offering $15 and $25 specials you can only get during those two weeks.

The participating restaurants and their menus are listed at greeleydowntown.com. We'll be eating our way through it and posting picks as we go.

Getting There

Downtown is still under construction. Parts of the core are closed for water, sewer and stormwater work, including the 9th Avenue block between 11th and 12th streets by St. Peter's Catholic Church. Give yourself a few extra minutes, and check the city's construction updates before you go.

Then Bring the Kids Back

Restaurant Week overlaps with Trick-or-Treat Street on Friday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m., when downtown businesses hand out candy to costumed kids. Halloween itself falls on a Saturday this year. After that, the holiday season starts downtown with WinterFest beginning Nov. 28.
