Greeley Nightlife

Live music, open mics, bars, and late-night eats — proof that downtown Greeley doesn't shut down at sunset.

Downtown is worth showing up for

We keep saying we won't watch downtown die — this page is part of how we back that up. We'll point you to the venues booking local bands, the bars keeping the lights on, the trivia nights, the open mics, and the late-night kitchens feeding all of it.

Show up, spend local, bring a friend. A downtown stays alive one busy night at a time.

September at the Moxi: A Packed Month Downtown

The Moxi's September calendar has a little of everything. This weekend alone brings hip-hop artist Dizzy Wright on Friday, Sept. 4 and country songwriter Ward Davis on Saturday, Sept. 5. From there: the Music of Sabrina Carpenter reimagined as jazz (Sept. 9), two stand-up sets from comedian Jeff Dye (Sept. 10), the Moxi Mic Drop open mic and freestyle rap battle (Sept. 18), Santana tribute Persuasion (Sept. 19), The Ultimate Doors tribute (Sept. 26), Giovannie and the Hired Guns (Sept. 27), and reggae-rockers Bumpin Uglies with Artikal Sound System (Sept. 30).

That's live music, comedy, and an open mic inside one month on one downtown block. Tickets and full details at the Moxi's site.

Stella's Pinball Arcade & Lounge — Downtown Greeley

Stella's Keeps the Late Nights Going

A few doors from the Moxi, Stella's Pinball Arcade & Lounge stays busy after dark with its Underground Comedy series — Patrick Richardson takes the mic Thursday, Sept. 3, with Ali Kareem and Cameron Mackenzie following on Sept. 17, plus a regular comedy open mic night. On Thursday, Sept. 24, the Vatos Locos Comedy Festival hosted by Ricky Ramos rolls through.

Add DJ nights like Ultimo Perreo (Friday, Sept. 4) and a wall of pinball machines, and you've got a legitimately full downtown night without moving your car: show at the Moxi, late set at Stella's.
