Shows in Unexpected Places

Daniela Hernandez and a few friends — [TK — names, incl. "G"] — are behind Project Pop-Up Greeley, a series of pop-up concerts staged in unique, intimate spaces around town. The idea: showcase local talent, and even traveling acts, in settings you'd never expect to see a live show.

Two Birds, One Stage

Every pop-up does double duty. Performers get a room full of residents to play for, and the host gets a spotlight on their business. Past and potential stages include downtown's record store [TK — confirm name: "Downtown Sound Records & Tapes"?] and the Greeley Guitar Lounge. And while the crew knows a lot of downtown owners, Hernandez says the vision reaches all of Greeley and northern Colorado.

Next Pop-Up: Breakdancers at Balance Movement Yoga

The next Project Pop-Up will feature breakdancers at Balance Movement Yoga. [TK — date, time, cost/RSVP.]
