Trick-or-Treat Street: Friday, 4–6 p.m.

Downtown's Halloween tradition is Friday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. Kids in costume hit the plazas for candy from downtown businesses. Construction is still going on, so plan to park a few blocks out and walk in. The detours are easier on foot anyway.

Restaurant Week: Final Days

Greeley's first Restaurant Week, Fork Around & Find Out, wraps up Sunday, Nov. 1. That leaves a few more days for the $15 and $25 specials you can't get the rest of the year. Turn trick-or-treating into a family dinner downtown, or save the date-night version for Saturday. Participating restaurants are listed at greeleydowntown.com.

Halloween on a Saturday

Halloween itself lands on Saturday, Oct. 31 this year, so expect a full weekend of costumes. Neighborhood trick-or-treating is Saturday night.

Coming Up

Then it's straight into the holidays. WinterFest starts Nov. 28 with the Holiday Open House, Light Up Lincoln, Holiday Lane and photos with Santa. Downtown gift cards work at 40-plus local businesses, which makes them an easy early holiday gift.

Send us your Trick-or-Treat Street photos. The best ones make our Citizen Video and photo roundups.
