Conference Season Opens in Greeley
Northern Colorado women's soccer opens its Big Sky schedule with a two-match homestand: Idaho on Thursday, Oct. 8, at noon and Eastern Washington on Sunday, Oct. 11, at noon. Both stream on ESPN+.
How They Got Here
The nonconference slate was a mixed bag with real highlights. The Bears beat Colorado State 2–1, played South Dakota to a scoreless draw and Denver to a 1–1 draw, then beat Air Force 2–1 and won 1–0 at UC Riverside for back-to-back victories. The California trip ended with a loss at San Diego State, and the nonconference schedule closed with a loss to Boise State on Sept. 25.
The Big Sky Road Ahead
This year's league schedule includes the conference's newest members, Utah Tech and Southern Utah. After the homestand, UNC goes to Utah Tech (Oct. 15) and Southern Utah (Oct. 18), comes home for Portland State (Oct. 22) and Montana (Oct. 25), travels to Weber State (Oct. 29) and Idaho State (Nov. 1), and closes at home against Northern Arizona on Nov. 5.
Elsewhere on Campus
Football (2–3) took a 36–14 loss at No. 3 Montana and now goes to Eastern Washington on Saturday at 5 p.m. The Bears are back at Nottingham Field against Cal Poly on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m.
