Five Minutes, Three Actions

Being heard doesn't require a marathon council meeting every week. Here's this week's checklist:

  1. Vote on the data center decision. The commissioners voted 5–0. Now it's your turn: Do you feel heard? takes thirty seconds.
  2. Click the verify link. Your vote doesn't count until you click the email we send. That single click is what separates our numbers from internet noise — unverified votes are never counted, period.
  3. Nominate a taqueria. Civic engagement should occasionally be delicious. Nominations close when voting opens October 1.

Why the Checklist Works

Officials can dismiss one angry comment. They cannot dismiss a growing, verified count of real neighbors that gets bigger every single week. Every verified vote compounds. That's the whole strategy — small actions, honestly counted, relentlessly repeated.

The checklist runs every week in Local Engagement. Verify once, then it really is five minutes.
